Suitcases have arrived

Yesterday I went out to the airport registered with security and went in to find my suitcases where they had been since Monday. So now we have suitcases.

BA in Buenos Aires insisted that they had sent it and Copa insisted that it had not arrived. Since Tuesday I had insisted that they go into check the luggage physically at the airport. Both BA and Copa said that I shouldn’t go to the airport. It was my patience running out with them that finally lost it.

Well that means that we were finally able to go out and enjoy ourselves for an evening with friends at a one of the many new night clubs that has opened since we lived here. It was great to get down to merengue and all the classic Panamanian reggae oldies from Nando Boom and Renato.

The other night we had dinner and beers with fellow Java, Mac, Linux geek Stephan Schwab and Wife Nazli who are moving down here permanently. He is currently waiting for his container.
